Dee

Home / Dee

Dee joined Dot Com in July 2014 after retiring from the police service after 30 years. Dee is now responsible for liaising with police forces nationally and networking with strategic people in Government, councils and educational roles on behalf of Dot Com.

Prior to joining Dot Com, Dee was a detective and worked for 23 years in London with the Metropolitan Police before moving to Northern Ireland. In Northern Ireland, Dee spent two years working on the Historical Enquiries Team where she investigated fatalities as a result of ‘The Troubles’. Her remaining 5 years were served in Sussex reviewing criminal investigations and writing policies and procedures for all aspects of work undertaken by detectives.

Outside of work Dee is a keen swimmer and runner (having competed 17 marathons and a few Ultras in her younger years – when her knees were up to it!!). Dee lives on a small holding with her husband, 3 children, 2 horses, 32 chickens, 7 ducks, 5 geese, 3 rabbits and 2 cats which, when not working for Dot, tend to keep her quite busy.
