Over the course of a weekend in February, the Dot Com Children’s Foundation was invited into the world of Forever Living at their Success Express event at ExCel. We were given the fantastic opportunity to present the work of the charity to 5,000 Forever Living business owners and were humbled by the support we received.
Our CEO, Sharon Evans, spoke to the Business Owners about her personal childhood experiences and her reasons for starting the Dot Com Children’s Foundation – to empower children and give them the tools to communicate and express themselves, especially in challenging circumstances.
Our patron, Kristina Rihanoff, was also on-hand to lend her voice of support to the charity and the audience were treated to some fantastic dancing by junior dancers Maddie and Korey – world famous Ballroom and Latin Champions! Sharon was also joined on stage by her twins, who helped their mummy by performing a fab dance of their own!
With the performances over, we asked the Forever Living community if they would kindly support the charity by signing up to ‘Challenge 1000’, which asks volunteers to raise £1000 in a year. We were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and support expressed; currently over 400 people have made this fantastic commitment! Their support will allow the Dot Com Children’s Foundation to provide the Dot Com journal programme to many more schools, reaching more children and giving them the opportunity to thrive.
We would like to thank Forever Living and all our Challenge 1000 participants for their ongoing support.
